When I ordered  iced teas from Republic of Tea, I also couldn’t resist adding something warm and spicy to my card: Cardamom Cinnamon.

From the website, Cardamom Cinnamon contains cinnamon, ginger, carob, cardamom, chicory, pink peppercorns, star anise, cloves and cassia oil.

I ordered the Tasters Tin which was $4.50 for 1oz, but the blend is also available for $11.50 for a 5oz tin and $31.oo for a 1lb bag.

When I opened the tin I got a spicy smell that reminded me of the holidays. Once brewed I got the cinnamon and the pepper. The tea was mostly cinnamon flavored, and I found myself missing the body of a black tea underneath. I think this one would be a great substitute for those who would prefer herbal spice teas.
