October 28, 2015 LauraLeave a comment

Perhaps a mug will complete the collection? The fiber: Southern Cross Fibre, 75% Bond/25% Tussah Silk in Lady Grey The tea: Twinings… Continue reading Spinspiration: Lady Grey

Teaccessories: Mandala

It’s Friday, which means balloons, liquor, unicorns and rainbows for everyone! I would love to enjoy a Friday cuppa in this mug.

I know it’s a little late for Mother’s Day, but I couldn’t help but notice this sweet pink mug featured on Harney & Sons website for the holiday.  I think it looks like knit stitches, don’t you?

Teaccessories: Van Gogh

Many years ago I got to attend a Van Gogh exhibit at LACMA. I stood transfixed by all the delicate brush strokes in each and every painting. This mug set reminds me of that wonderful evening.

Craftea: Cuppa Quilt

March 25, 2015 LauraLeave a comment

As I was browsing Pinterest the other day I came upon this quilt tutorial. I can’t sew to save my life, but if you can, you could quilt yourself a cuppa! Or, if a full quilt seems daunting, perhaps a small mug rug?

Welcome!

Hi! I’m Laura. As a California girl transplanted to the Midwest, I fully embraced spinning and knitting to keep warm. My love of fiber arts has lead me to become a knitting tech editor, host of a weekly video podcast and a knitwear designer. My goal is to produce beautiful fiber projects and help other designers produce well-crafted patterns — free from errors!
