The second tea I decided to try from Capital Teas is their Tangerine Ginger Organic blend. I love anything citrus and hoped this one would be a little spicy.
From the website, this blend contains organic ginger root, organic and Fair Trade Certified hibiscus flowers, organic schizandra berries, organic licorice root, organic rosehips, organic orange peel, essential orange and tangerine oils.
It is available in a variety of sizes: 2oz for $8.00, 4oz for $16.00, 8oz for $30.40, 1lb for $57.60 and 2lbs for $108.80.
When I first opened the package I could smell the tangy tangerine and the spicy ginger. As the tea brewed I got more of the hibiscus and rosehips. This one was really full of flavor and a bit of spice (from the ginger and licorice). I really liked it hot – it reminded me a bit of mulled wine – but I think it would be excellent iced as well.
Sounds delish. Happy knitting.
