March 29, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

A friend sent me the link to these charming Butterfly Tea Bags: It looks like they are a concept product and I haven’t found where to purchase them, but for those who are crafty, I did find this beautiful tutorial at Craftberry Bush:

Drink Me: David’s Tea, Silk Dragon Jasmine

March 28, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

I admit I’ve always had a fondness for jasmine green teas. I don’t know if it stems from my love of Chinese food with my family, but add a little jasmine and I’m pouring myself a cup.  So when I was placing an order with David’s Tea, I decided to try their Silk Dragon Jasmine.… Continue reading Drink Me: David’s Tea, Silk Dragon Jasmine

A very Downton Tea Party

March 26, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

I only recently learned that as part of 2013’s Black Friday celebrations World Market had a whole Downton Abbey themed tea party event. I can’t believe I missed it! Perhaps my favorite part were the beautiful mugs they gave away as part of the Black Friday promotions.  They don’t have any more, so you’ll have… Continue reading A very Downton Tea Party

Drink Me: David’s Tea, Guava Cadabra

March 21, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

When I perused the David’s Tea site for my initial order I was intrigued by Guava Cadabra. From the packaging the tea contains mango, apple, hibiscus blossoms, elderberries, guava, and rosehips.  This is actually a tisane, a beverage made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water, since… Continue reading Drink Me: David’s Tea, Guava Cadabra

If you’re using tea bags, or a separate infuser, or even a tea spoon to stir your tea, you’re going to need a place to rest your favorite implement. One reader sent me the link to this adorable Beary Spoon Rest on Modcloth: I also found a variety of cute plates on my very favorite… Continue reading Teacessories: Tea Bag/Spoon Plates

Drink Me: Adagio Teas, Vanilla Oolong

March 17, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

The third tea I received in my Orchard Sampler from Adagio Teas was Vanilla Oolong. From the website Vanilla Oolong contains naturally sweet oolong from Taiwan blended with natural vanilla. When I opened the package I immediately smelled warm sugary vanilla.  The taste was sweet, a nice mellow oolong under shades of vanilla.  This probably… Continue reading Drink Me: Adagio Teas, Vanilla Oolong
