Teacessories: Mug Trees

May 24, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

As you’ve seen, my collection of mugs is steadily growing as I continue on my tea journey.  While we have some cupboard space I can devote to them, I’d rather be able to see my favorite mugs each and every day. Our counter space is a little limited, so I may store some of my… Continue reading Teacessories: Mug Trees

I admit that I’m not a huge fan of Dr. Who, but I have friends and family who are, and I’ve been sampling Dr. Who teas so I thought I’d show you a few of the Dr. Who themed tea accessories that I’ve found when looking around. Teacessories: Tea Cozies

February 22, 2014 LauraLeave a comment

I don’t generally drink my tea in ceramic pots, but there are many people who do. As I said in my post about mug cozies, one of the ways to keep your tea warm longer is to add some extra insulation with wool! There are tons of tea cozy patterns out there for those of… Continue reading Teacessories: Tea Cozies

Teacessories: The Republic of Tea

February 12, 2014 Laura6 Comments

During my wait for my Teavana tumbler, I got impatient and decided to try something different. I had been encouraged by a friend to try The Republic of Tea so I wandered over to their site and browsed. The first thing I found was their Glass Tumbler with Infuser. It seemed competitive with the Teavana… Continue reading Teacessories: The Republic of Tea

Welcome!

Hi! I’m Laura. As a California girl transplanted to the Midwest, I fully embraced spinning and knitting to keep warm. My love of fiber arts has lead me to become a knitting tech editor, host of a weekly video podcast and a knitwear designer. My goal is to produce beautiful fiber projects and help other designers produce well-crafted patterns — free from errors!
